A rescued rose

Message from a visitor.
A rescued rose blooms again
I rescued this rose last Monday. It was already shriveled and weak, and now it is still blooming in full splendor — already after just one day, and until today.

It is remarkable how much gratitude and joy it seems to carry as it blossoms into its full beauty and holds it for as long as possible, as if it had been given a second chance.

It brings great joy to witness what can emerge when something is about to be thrown away — or already has been — and then receives a new chance. To me, it feels like a small miracle. [sic] [Mon 16.03.26]
