Little Artists, Big Hearts:
The Children's Drawings that Enchant Us

When children fill a room with life, its atmosphere noticeably changes. What was once a simple meeting place becomes a space full of imagination, laughter, and quiet concentration. We experience this over and over again.

While we adults are engrossed in conversation or moderating, colorful pencils and sheets of paper are spread out on the table for the children. Small hands eagerly reach for colors, lean over white surfaces – and create worlds. Sometimes, rainbows, animals, or entire landscapes of houses emerge. And again and again, something happens that touches us deeply: The children paint Anika.

With wide eyes, a smiling face, often with open arms or surrounded by hearts – this is how we see ourselves through their perspective. These pictures are more than just drawings. They are an expression of trust. Of security. Of the feeling of being welcome.

Children are honest. They don't draw out of politeness, but out of enthusiasm. When they feel secure, their strokes become bolder, their colors more vibrant, and their ideas freer. That they make Anika one of their subjects is the most beautiful form of recognition for us. It shows: They feel seen. And they see us.

Thus, with us, not only pictures are created on paper, but memories – colorful, lively, and full of heart.
